Our History
The history of vobiscum nursery and primary school recorded back to when the vision of the institution was conceived. She started off as an evening tutorials centre for learners(children) who had challenges with their reading abilities and arithmetic phobia.
The vision was seen developing into a dynasty as the management taught it wise to seek proper registration with the minister of education in the year 2005.
The school finally got her approval in 2007 and since then it has been up to date with her regular dues and levies as a school.
Though the school has her trying times as accommodation was a major challenge. She ran mostly in the evening and sometimes times in the morning as learning comfort and safety was our major priority.
However this challenges are really tough and quite disheartening as the school was almost at a verge of shutting down.
Moreover, with much prayers and a lots of effort from the proprietress and available teachers on ground, the school started standing her ground and till operated smoothly against all odds. Vobiscum nursery and primary school actually stood the test of time as she struggled the years under thick and thin. Keeping in mind the vision statement and mission of the institution, the management and staffs of the school kept their heads up and maintained all strata and segments of the institution.
During this periods, the school recorded a snail pace of growth and as well recorded some good achievements even as an infant struggling school. However, during the summer school that marks the beginning of 2012/2013 session, the school gradually found her ground and recorded a massive change in her implementation of policies and being able to scale through the issue of accommodation challenge. Indeed, God’s intervened and our major problem becomes a thing of the past. The school eventually kicked off fully as a regular school with proper and more organized structured policies which gave room for standardized and more conducive teaching/learning process.
The great change saw the school flagging off on January 14th 2013. with the total number of twelve pupils being four (4) boys, eight (8) girls with only three Teaching staffs and two Non- Teaching staffs.
